Understand about the developments that you may observe in your baby by 15th week (fourth month) of her development.Time flies - 15 weeks ago, it was the first time experience when you held your baby in your arms, and now you are too busy in changing diapers frequently, feeding your baby and giving her baths. Your baby’s memory has already begun to work. By 15 weeks, babies can remember their primary caregivers well, though they cannot remember every event taking place every day or every person who comes to visit. But they laugh out loud and happily go to people whom they recognize by now.
Developing Speech Pattern
Your infant is now ready to communicate using sound reflexes – each of them carries distinct meanings. The five distinct sounds are very popular among 15-week babies, for example, “owh†means that your baby is sleepy, “eairh†means you must be concerned about your baby’s upset stomach, “neh†means you got to feed your infant now as she is hungry, your baby will show discomfort saying “hehâ€, and “eh†means that she needs to burp.
Understanding Play Habits
Your lovelet slowly understands play habits as she has already developed the understanding of cause and effect since the last few weeks. Neural connections form when your baby holds a rattle or bats a toy. Let your infant enjoy playing the way she likes to play – if your baby likes to be held upright, be with her and ask her what she is seeing or if your infant likes to lie on his back and play, lie down beside her and talk with her while she plays – you are showing respect for her development as an individual if you support your baby’s developing interests.
More of Curiosity
Babies do not understand reflection now, but they are too curious to look everything around them now, so if you give them an unbreakable mirror, they would keep staring at the mirror with a lot of curiosity. They may love staring at their own reflection, and maybe delighted every time they look at the mirror. At this developing age, billions of brain cells develop and their curiosity helps to develop more brain cells sooner – that is how baby brain develops.
More Biting
Teeth keep on poking the baby gums – by 15 weeks, it may increase more. Babies often drool due to teething. Excessive drooling can cause a facial rash in babies. They can feel irritated, mostly at night time. They may refuse to take a bottle in these tough times. They may experience loose stool for all the teething pain. Many babies experience sore cheek also. They tend to bite on objects to satisfy achy gums, so be careful for the objects around them – you must keep everything clean as you never know what your baby bites on.
